Global footwear brand Ecco has officially opened its new Karrinyup store, seeing the opportunity for expansion after a spike in Perth-based eCommerce sales.

It marks the third store for the brand in Western Australia – complementing its outlet in DFO Perth and its prime store in Claremont Quarter - with a total of 34 stores nationwide.

Karrinyup, which underwent a recent redevelopment, features tenants such as AJE, Scanlan & Theodore, Viktoria & Woods, Assembly Label and now Ecco.

The store spans 105m2 and will stock all footwear and accessory collections for women, men and kids.

Paying homage to the brand’s heritage - it was founded in Denmark in 1963 - the design of the store features Danish inspired fixtures and fittings, as well as Scandinavian-like elements such as European oak flooring.

Ecco products are sold in 90 countries from over 2,200 Ecco shops and more than 14,000 sales points.

Ecco owns and manages every aspect of the value chain from tanneries and shoe manufacturing to wholesale and retail activities.
