Australian womenswear brand Dissh is expanding its bricks-and-mortar footprint during the summer season across Australia.
The brand is opening six new stores, with four already opened. This includes the opening of a store in Miranda, New South Wales and in Brisbane, alongside two openings in Western Australia - in Claremont Quarter and Karrinyup - the first time Dissh has ventured into the western state.
Two other stores will open in Victoria in early December.
This will take the brand’s retail network to eleven stores in four states. According to Dissh, this indicates a commitment to its home country alongside significant global growth in the United States and European markets.
Regarding the Claremont store, which will open this week on November 28, Dissh worked with long-term collaborator, interior designer Brahman Perera, to develop the space.
The storefront features large windows for sight lines showcasing the interiors, with interior elements including tactile travertine and draped sheer fabric. The change rooms are large and oculus-shaped, featuring warm natural light.
The upcoming openings in Victoria come one year after its retail launch in Melbourne with a boutique in the Chadstone shopping precinct.
In addition, Dissh is opening a series of pop-up locations in Karrinyup, and another in Victoria.
Meanwhile, the brand opened its third New South Wales store in Miranda on November 16, and a boutique in Brisbane’s James Street earlier in the month.
The latest store openings top off a robust year for Dissh. The womenswear brand held its first pop-up showroom in Los Angeles in March, it welcomed Brett Blundy of the BBRC Worldwide Group (BBRC) to its board of directors and recently made a $200,000 donation to Thread Together – the Australian charity providing new and quality clothing to women in need.
