Australian fashion house Dissh is continuing its retail push, adding High Street, Armadale to its national mix.
The new store marks Dissh’s eleventh Australian boutique and third in Melbourne, and follows a retail boom for the brand in late 2024.
Dissh opened six new stores at the end of last year, with its largest presence in Queensland with five stores.
These store openings top off a robust year for Dissh in 2024. The womenswear brand held its first pop-up showroom in Los Angeles in March, it welcomed Brett Blundy of the BBRC Worldwide Group (BBRC) to its board of directors and recently made a $200,000 donation to Thread Together – the Australian charity providing new and quality clothing to women in need.
Following the success of its Bondi and James St collaboration, Dissh partnered again with interior architect Brahman Perera to create the new Armadale space.
The store features a translucent fibreglass moon installation by Australian artist Amy Vidler, alongside the brand’s signature dual timber columns, reimagined from the Bondi location.
The store also features a bespoke travertine counter and mosaic flooring in the fitting room foyer, as well as a statement centerpiece table crafted by Melbourne's Den Holm studio and furniture and styling pieces from local- female-led artists and makers. The fitting rooms also have customisable lighting.
"Dissh Armadale was concepted to be a sophisticated evolution of the brand DNA, parlayed into the artistic sentiment of the Melbourne landscape," Brahman Perera said.
