Luxury label Dior has unveiled its newly reopened boutique in Sydney's Castlereagh Street.

The store is housed in a heritage-listed building built in 1860, historically known as the Surrey Hotel.

Inside, Dior's ready-to-wear collections for women and men, leather goods, accessories, homewares, fine jewellery and timepieces are presented across three levels.

The boutique also features two VIP salons on their own floor to provide clients added luxury and exclusivity.

"The boutique showcases artworks by a series of acclaimed international artists that have not yet publicly exhibited in Australia, reflecting Monsieur Dior’s background as a gallerist and art collector and perpetuating Dior’s long-standing association with art and artists," the brand said in a statement.

"These artists include French sculptors Erwan Boulloud and Etienne Moyat; Jean Alexander Frater, Peter Lane and Christina Watka from the US, the latter from whom Dior has commissioned a bespoke installation for the boutique; and UK-based mixed-media artists Jo Hummel and Peter Seal.

"Notably, the boutique features an exceptional piece by renowned contemporary French painter Claire de Chavagnac Brugnon, ‘Lac Sale II Australie’, which was inspired by her time travelling in the Australian Warlpiri country," Dior said.

The new boutique also offers customers personalisation experiences, with shoppers able to add their own flair to pieces like the Lady D-Lite and Saddle bags to J’Adior pumps and Walk’n’Dior sneakers.

Meanwhile, a made-to-order service is available for men.

To celebrate the reopening, the Dior Studio has designed an exclusive Lady Dior bag in grey and white alligator.

Available in two sizes, it is limited to only three pieces in the small size and seven in the mini.

Additionally, in Australia the boutique will exclusively carry the Lady Dior and Dior Book Tote bags featuring a motif based on the ‘La Force’ tarot card - limited to 15 pieces each.

The Dior Castlereagh Street boutique is now open.
