Australian fashion brand Decjuba has renewed its annual 'Retail Recruitment Day' in a bid to secure 1,000 new employees for the upcoming Christmas trading period.

It follows the brand’s recruitment day event last year, which saw 240 new employees being signed on - the biggest recruitment drive for the brand in a single day.

This year’s recruitment day will take place on Saturday, August 26 between 10 am to 4 pm, where interested applicants just need to turn up for an on-the-spot 5-minute interview.

It will be hosted in 20 select locations across Australia and New Zealand, with a total of 1,000 positions available across all 140 Decjuba stores in both countries.

Decjuba has also extended the program online.

“At Decjuba, we believe our best asset is our people and we can’t wait to welcome incredible new team members to our brand,” chief retail officer Lilla Peck said.

Relaunched by Tania Austin in 2008, Decjuba expanded from five stores to 140 today.

The fashion brand also expanded its product offering with two additional brands, including D-Luxe Basics in 2016 and Decjuba Kids in 2017.
