Australian-born fashion and lifestyle business Country Road has launched its first-ever collaboration with Australian pottery maker Robert Gorden.

The new range features six pieces, all designed, sourced, and made in Victoria using reclaimed glaze.

Each piece in the range will pass through the hands of 12 artisans at Robert Gordon’s production studio in Pakenham and is crafted using clay sourced from the Bendigo region.

Robert Gordon’s ceramic engineer Melissa Farell perfected the reclaimed glaze over a period of three months - testing and trialling various methods to achieve the ideal shade of green.

The six-piece range includes a vase, a mug, a salad bowl, a platter, a latte cup and a dip bowl.

“It’s been a dream of ours to one day work with Country Road and so we feel immense honour and privilege to be able to collaborate on a collection which is so unique, celebrating our shared passion for simplicity and timeless design,” Robert Gordon director Hannah Gordon said.

“We’ve loved sharing our pottery, our skills and people to this collaboration, the outcome perfectly captures the spirit between both brands.”

Country Road’s general manager of home Ty Symonds said the company is proud to have crafted this range entirely in Melbourne, Australia.

“The combination of Country Road’s design language with Robert Gordon's expert pottery ensures a collection that stands out in both quality and aesthetic appeal,” Symonds said.

"What excites me most about this range is the natural, ergonomic forms and the gorgeous green tones. Each piece feels so comfortable and organic in the hand. It's a perfect blend of form and function, and we’re so proud it’s made in Australia using reclaimed glaze.”

The limited-edition Victoria range will be available in select Country Road stores and online from September 30.
