Cos has teamed up with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+SB organisation Black Rainbow for Pride 2021.

The partnership will see Cos stores across Australia rally to collect donations for the organisation, which focuses on the positive health and wellbeing of the LGBTQIA+SB (sistergirl, brotherboy) community.

The business will also gift customers a special edition Pride Tote when they make a donation to Black Rainbow of $30 or more.

Not only a way to donate to an important organisation, the Tote also provides Cos with an avenue to give new life to leftover fabric, using excess cotton unused by other designs to create the bag.

Black Rainbow founder Dameyon Bonson welcomed the partnership with Cos.

"Black Rainbow prides itself on the partnerships that we engage with.

"Like Cos, we are value-driven, with inclusion and diversity being paramount.

"Cos’ zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination helped endear us to pursue this relationship.

"We are looking forward to lending our brand to the pursuits of Cos as it sets to achieve a global reflection of a multicultural world," he said.

To support the campaign, Cos will seed out supportive messages across its digital channels from four friends of the brand; Dameyon Bonson, Black Rainbow founder; Casey Conway, Rugby Australia head of diversity and inclusion; Genesis Mansilongan, Cos Sydney visual merchandiser; and, Jack Crossing, Cos Sydney store associate.

The Cos fundraising campaign began on April 20 and will run to May 23.
