Converse and Minus18 have released a second custom patch collaboration inspired by trans youth for ‘Trans Awareness Week’.

Continuing the ongoing partnership between Converse Australia and Minus18, the collaboration is all about raising awareness and supporting young people from the trans and gender diverse community through education and allyship.

The patches have been inspired by LGBTQIA+ young people from the Minus18 community, and features the Trans flag accompanied by the Rainbow flag with the black and brown stripes, reflecting the message of ‘Pride For All’.

Minus 8 partnerships coordinator Adrian Murdoch praised the move.

"Minus18 are proud to collaborate with Converse, with these youth-inspired patches for Trans Awareness Week who inspired us with "Pride For All".

"Highlighting these days of significance, the Trans & Gender Diverse community helps bring more visibility, with patches that empower individuals to show pride and allyship."

Trans Awareness Week runs from the 13th – 20th November and is an opportunity to to learn about gender diversity, and take action to support the trans and gender diverse community.

100% of the proceeds from the patches will be donated to Minus18, to create life-affirming events, school workshops and peer support for young people and their families - all across Australia.
