Brisbane-born retailer City Beach is set to open its first store in Victoria later this month at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong, west of Melbourne CBD.

The news was confirmed in a press release from Highpoint.

The new store for City Beach adds to more than 65 doors across Australia, across Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Perth.

Highpoint also confirmed that activewear brand LSKD will open in the centre in April.

This will add up to 18 stores for LSKD in Australia, which includes two other store openings planned for Canberra and Kotara, according to its website.

This follows LSKD’s recent entrance into the New Zealand market, opening at Takapuna Beach. The brand also manages a store and global headquarters in San Diego California.

The two new additions at Highpoint add to six other retailers entering the centre, including food retailers Sandwich Chefs and Marrybrown, Bath & Body Works and laundromat Blue Hippo between now and July.

These follow recent openings including Strong Pilates and self-serve dessert bar Yo-Chi.

Highpoint general manager Kate Rooney said the eight new stores form part of a growing range of retailers at the centre, which houses over 450 altogether, including department stores David Jones and Myer, and a wide range of fashion retailers.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new retailers to Highpoint, including three further additions to our newly renovated Fresh Food and Dining Precinct,” Rooney said. “The new retailers showcase the personalised and elevated experience that awaits at Highpoint, with LSKD adding to our growing athleisure portfolio.”
