Australian fashion designer Christopher Esber has partnered with homegrown bottle brand Frank Green to launch a limited supply of ceramic reusable bottles.
The new collection marks Esber’s second trip to Paris Fashion Week, where he will launch a new show at the Palais de Tokyo. The new reusable bottle will first be revealed in the hands of VIP guests at the spring/summer 25 presentation.
The 595ml reusable bottles come in three designs, and will be sold at an RRP of $79.95 from October 2.
“With mutual values in innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, and embracing the principle of mindful production, it was natural to collaborate with Frank Green on the creation of our Christopher Esber Ydra 595 Reusable Bottle,” Esber said.
“Having grown up in Australia, a connection to nature is intrinsic to our DNA. Beach culture plays a central role in my design process, drawing inspiration from organic colours found in the natural landscape. The light here is different, and plays an important role in how we bring ideas together.
“The reusable bottle arrives as an organic extension of our Resort 25 collection; an object d’art rendered in gloss chrome, in continuation of the design principles established with our sculptural hardware.”
In June this year, Christopher Esber was the first Australian to be nominated and win the ANDAM Grand Prize for fashion which includes a mentorship with Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello.
Speaking on the partnership and Esber’s recognition, Frank Green founder and CEO Benjamin Young said the designer’s journey to the global stage is “nothing short of inspirational”.
“You can easily see why he has rightly earned global recognition and credibility in the world of high fashion,” Young said. “Like Frank Green, his label has a very special design approach to style.
“Christopher Esber is the pinnacle brand to partner with Frank Green to take premium and stylish sustainable living solutions to the world. It is a pre-eminent Australian brand to have successfully broken into international markets and there is no doubt Christopher is held in high creative regard globally.”
