Australian menswear brand Calibre has reopened two Melbourne stores to match its new boutique concept first unveiled in 2021 in Bondi Junction, NSW.
The revamped boutiques are located in Highpoint and Emporium shopping complexes.
Calibre is also planning to open a new standalone boutique with the new concept on James Street in Brisbane’s CBD.
The two new renovations have reportedly seen increased foot traffic in both boutiques since opening mid-last month.
“Following the evolution of the brand, the latest Calibre retail concept focuses on strong frontage and contemporary design features which highlight our product and encourage exploration,” Calibre head of brand and business development Edin Zecevic said.
“This has transformed our clientele’s connection to the brand. With an undeniably unique approach to men’s retail that has attracted new shoppers of varied demographics who were not previously aware of our brand.”
The boutique concept involves a minimalist design, with an increased footprint in Highpoint’s changing area.
Zecevic said the Brisbane boutique is a key addition to its national portfolio.
“The James St precinct has been our most highly requested boutique location, so we are looking forward to welcoming all Brisbane shoppers for its opening towards the tail-end of the year and the new opportunities this creates.”
Calibre has also expanded its merchandising strategy with the introduction of an extensive lifestyle offering.
“Our lifestyle offering has been one of the key elements driving our brand’s growth and evolution since coming out of COVID lockdown-affected periods,” Zecevic said. “We have expanded the lifestyle range for our AW23 collection and are seeing our clients visit out boutiques to shop a range of looks for their capsule wardrobes across both lifestyle and tailoring categories.”
The AW23 collection is available across all stores, including Highpoint and Emporium, and online.
