Australian fashion designer Anna Thomas has passed away at the age of 49.
In a post to the brand's website, staff revealed Thomas' exceptional commitment to her craft.
"With much sadness we share the loss of our beloved founder Anna Thomas.
"Anna privately battled a rare illness for over three year while still designing her beautiful collections.
"She is at peace."
Thomas leaves behind her husband David Barrington, the managing director of her business and their three children, Lilla, Angus and Oscar.
Thomas launched her label in 2002 and opened her first boutique on Melbourne's Little Collins Street in 2004.
She scaled the brand to 10 sites and was well-respected for her craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
