Luxury Australian childrenswear label Tutu Du Monde has teamed up with Australian artist Fleur Harris on a 40-piece collaboration collection.

Renowned for her highly detailed works of spirited woodland creatures, the new 'Woodlandia' collection brings together Harris' work with Tutu Du Monde's craftsmanship and design.

The range will launch in October and is set to be stocked by global retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales.

Tutu Du Monde director Andrea Rembeck said the partnership was a natural fit for both brands.

"Both our designs and Fleur’s artwork share an element of fantasy and are rich in nostalgia - there is an ethereal, keepsake appeal to Fleur’s work that really resonates with our aesthetic," she said.

The collection includes tutu dresses, onesies, capes, tops, skirts, pants, hair accessories, wings and masks.

Harris' partnership with Tutu Du Monde is the latest in a string of collaborations, which sees her work extend into new mediums.

Harris has previously worked with homewares retailer Adairs Kids and Jimmy Cricket wallpapers, as well as recently volunteering to produce a creative projects pack for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Harris welcomed the collaboration with Tutu Du Monde.

"I have always felt that there is a beautiful synergy between our brands in how we honour the magic of childhood by creating worlds that celebrate imagination, whimsy and joy.

"Revisiting the ‘Woodland’ artworks with the Tutu du Monde creative team brought an opportunity to build on my original artworks by experimenting with theatrical materials, sumptuous textures and luxurious hand embellished details," she said.

The Tutu Du Monde x Fleur Harris collection will launch in October.
