ASICS and P.E Nation have extended their partnership with the release of a 20-piece collection.
It marks their third collaboration and follows a prior collection launch in mid-November last year between the two brands.
The new collection includes hero capsule pieces such as skorts, cycle shorts, leggings, zip jackets and sports bras. It also includes a limited release of the ASICS EX89™ MT x P.E Nation sneaker with mesh underlays, double laces and oversized ASICS stripes.
“Our first two collections with P.E Nation were a huge success and the partnership is testament to two brands coming together to push the boundaries of fashion and sports,” ASICS Oceania MD Mark Brunton said.
“We look forward to seeing our customers enjoy the head-to-toe kit blending ASICS world-famous technology and P.E Nation’s fashion-forward approach to design.”
P.E Nation founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning said the premise for the new release is a complete capsule to be worn on and off the court.
“Bringing the strengths of both brands together has been the highlight for us since the first collection we launched with ASICS,” they said. “That’s the beauty of collaborations – you get to harness the best of both brands and create something unique with that.”
Edwards and Tregoning said their brand shares similar values with ASICS.
“We brought the two design teams together once we decided our next capsule collection would be court-inspired, and this was crucial from a design point of view to ensure the collection incorporated all the best parts of both brands.
“From the get-go, we aligned on producing a collection that highlighted both brand values and the new designs, and collection itself was months in the making.”
The collection will be unveiled at P.E Nation’s flagship store in Sydney on August 10. The event will include 200 giveaways such as the new sneakers and gift vouchers worth up to $1,000.
