Los Angeles-based fashion house Anine Bing has opened its second Australian store in Mebourne’s inner east suburb of Toorak. Its first store was launched in Paddington, Sydney.

The 125sqm space will sell a wide assortment of the brand’s core range, with a minimalist interior design that blends Scandinavia with America. It is an all-white space that utilises natural light, and includes contrasting black track lights, brass, marble and rustic wood finishes, a Brigitte Bardot portrait by photographer Terry O’Neill, antique mirror tiles, mid-century modern seating, and custom furniture made locally in Australia.

The space also has a private garden in the back of the store. Anine Bing said the garden will be updated with wrought iron furniture, planted lavender and olive trees, a running stonework fountain, and painted stucco architecture.

Anine Bing said the location in Toorka matches the brand’s style. The surrounding area includes other fashion labels such as American fashion retailer Gant, Australian fashion boutique Husk, and Melbourne-based label My Izzi.

Anine Bing’s Melbourne opening is marked with the launch of the brand's classics and summer ’23 collections. It includes blazers, denim, sportswear and accessories.

The new store will offer one-on-one styling consultations, virtual appointments, and gift boxing with any purchase.

Anine Bing was founded in 2012 by current chief creative officer Anine Bing and her husband Nicolai Bing, who is the CEO.
