Australian outwear brand Driza-Bone has unveiled its first dedicated womenswear collection alongside the launch of its 2019 autumn/winter collection.
The new womenswear range puts fashion and functionality at the forefront and features feminine silhouettes across coats, anoraks and vests.
Driza-Bone head designer Sherron Anderson said that when it came to the female range, the brand had to reimagine classic menswear pieces and transform them to complement the female figure.
"For our new womenswear range, we have been very mindful of our past but also explored shapes for today’s lifestyle.
"We’ve taken our menswear classics and reinterpreted them from a female perspective, without compromising the DNA of the brand.
"The silhouettes are flattering to the female proportions and yet maintain our authentic and rugged Driza-Bone edge."
Alongside the women's line, the autum/winter menswear pieces feature updates to the Rider, Ranger and Bushman styles, while also introducing completely new pieces to the collection.
"Outdoors is the new luxury, whether you live in the city or the country," Anderson said.
"Driza-Bone aims to seamlessly fill the gap between urban outdoor and rural outdoor so our customer can roam without restrictions.
"Our garments have always been constructed for durability, comfort and function which are an absolute necessity to the Australian outdoor way of life.
"From a design perspective, we have built on the core values of our brand to develop our own distinct and rugged aesthetic," she said.
The autumn/winter female range retails for between $99-$369 while the men's collection retails for between $159-449 on the Driza-Bone website.
