General Pants Co. executive Pip Edwards has partnered with designer Claire Tregoning to launch activewear label P.E Nation.
The venture has been backed by Sydney based design and manufacturing company Hotsprings.
In addition, the label has reportedly managed to secure over 20 stockists prior to its launch next Month.
Stockists will include major retailers including David Jones, General Pants Co., Stylerunner and MyTheresa.
Hotsprings managing director Wassim Gazal said that the company is thrilled to invest in the brand.

“They have experience in shaping brands with a courageous point of view, curating what’s hot ensuring commercial translation.
“The partnership with Hotsprings and P.E Nation gives the founders the ability to perform to their strengths, nurture its market roll-out with capital investment and substantial supply chain infrastructure – the envy of many start-ups.
“P.E Nation has all the right ingredients to propel a fantastic launch year.”
Edwards said that forging a partnership with Hotsprings will aim to bolster the business' position in the activewear category.
“The decision to work with Hotsprings as an equity partner was a strategic decision – having the financial support of a production company means we're able to get out product out in large quantities and on time.”
The brand's debut collection 'In Training' will offer a range of crop tops, leggings, raw cut t-shirts, bomber jackets and bike shorts.
P.E Nation is set to launch online and in stockists this March.
