Australian fashion company Accent Group has opened a new Nude Lucy store today, marking the group’s 800th store across 15 brands.
As well as Nude Lucy, Accent Group’s other brands include The Athlete’s Foot, Subtype, Hype DC, Glue Store and Hoka.
Accent Group CEO Daniel Agostinelli said the company is seeing a strong return on investment in bricks and mortar retailing, with further growth expected ahead.
This includes Hoka's first Australian store in Bondi Junction, expected to open on November 2, with another in Melbourne’s Chadstone sometime before Christmas.
“Milestones like this only happen by us having the best team in the business, the best products, the best brand distribution agreements, and indeed loyal customers that we serve every day,” Agostinelli said.
“Staying focused on the basics like real customer satisfaction, add on sales and always looking for opportunities has been instrumental for our success to date.
“The best part is that we are charging forward with many new stores to open, further new technology coming soon to allow us to grow our on-line digital sales, whilst further growing our wholesale business across many brands.
“We’re excited to see how we can continue to innovate, taking influence from global leaders and adapting to the needs of the local market”.
Beyond 2023, Accent Group has plans to invest in opening more stores across its brands. This includes its acquisition of Ugg earlier this year.
