Accent Group Limited non-executive director Joshua Lowcock will not stand for re-election at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) on November 17.

In accordance with the company’s constitution, Lowcock will retire as a non-executive director effective from the conclusion of the AGM.

Lowcock joined the board in November 2019. He was the chair of the Digital Steering Group from August 2020 and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee from May 2020.

Lowcock’s decision to retire from the board is based on various other current board and professional priorities in Australia and in the United States, where he resides.

Chairman David Gordon thanked Lowcock on behalf of the board for his contributions over the last four years.

“He has helped drive meaningful progress and acceleration in our digital strategy, performance, and growth, enabling Accent Group to learn from global best practice,” Gordon said. “In addition, his input to the board on cyber security readiness has been invaluable.”

Joshua Lowcock said he plans to remain an active shareholder of Accent Group, and will be available to management and the board at any time.

“I believe the management and team at Accent Group are world class and they will continue to have my unwavering support.”
