In December, Louis Vuitton opened a temporary residency in Sydney in tribute to late artistic director Virgil Abloh.
The residency, which is located on Pitt and King streets, houses an exclusive curation of LV sneakers, sunglasses and accessories.
The event forms part of a global series of men’s fashion events dubbed 'Walk in the Park' that is rooted in the inclusive values at the heart of Abloh’s work.
The temporary residency invites visitors to discover sneakers and accessories from spring-summer 2019 to spring-summer 2022, offering customers a rare chance to obtain reissues and new limited-edition takes on collectable sneakers, sunglasses and jewellery.
"The chosen designs continue to be coveted by the global community formed by the late artistic director since his arrival at Louis Vuitton," Louis Vuitton said in a statement.
"Expanding on the ongoing dialogue with his audience, Virgil Abloh wanted visitors to experience House icons up close, and immerse themselves in their creative evolution.
"Throughout the store, designs are colour-coded in the nuances of the rainbow, a nod to the set of Virgil Abloh’s debut show for Louis Vuitton for spring-summer 2019," the brand said.
Highlight products on offer at the residency include various editions of the LV Trainer including the Upcycling range, the LV Runner Tactic and the 1.1 Millionaire Sunglasses.
The Louis Vuitton Walk in the Park residency opened on December 15 2021 and will run to March 15 2022.
