Australian fashion label Marcs has celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The brand hosted a gathering at Sydney's iconic Bondi Icebergs yesterday evening, attended by industry stalwarts and fashion influencers.

Managing director Tina van Zyl said the business has multiple activations to celebrate four decades in trade.

"The celebration of 40 years an exciting milestone for Marcs, a brand that has not only had a huge impact on the Australian fashion landscape but also holds a special place in many people’s hearts, due to the profound impact of our founder Mark Keighery.

"We have created a range of touchpoints to celebrate his legacy and launch the next chapter for the brand as we move forward and continue to make our mark on the Australian fashion industry."

The latest two capsule ranges, unveiled to coincide with the event, include a Liberty prints line and a collaborative knitted range with John Macarthur.

The Liberty women's and men's line is priced from $175 while the knitted collection starts from $299.

In addition to new collections this season, additional releases are scheduled for spring/summer.
