Local e-shopping club operator Apac Sale Group will launch another four sites across South East Asia, as the business continues to grow at an exponential rate.

The company, founded by entrepreneur Jamie Jackson, currently operates five online sites which sell apparel, accessories, beauty and homewares at discounted rates.

The sites, including Australia-based shopping hub Ozsale.com, offer membership-based shopping across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and the company has now confirmed plans to launch additional operations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam.

Apac Sale Group CEO Carl Jackson has revealed the first of the four new sites, for the Philippines market, is on track to be launched in July 2012, with an Indonesian site set to follow and scheduled for the first quarter of the 2012/13 fiscal year.

Both sites will be wholly-owned operations, such as Singsale and Mysale, with individual sites for Vietnam and Korea also confirmed for launch, but slated for later within the 2012/13 financial year.

“Our long term strategy has been to expand throughout Asia Pacific. The region represents a massive chunk of the world’s internet audience and is only set to continue growing,” Jackson said. “Australian brands and manufacturers will also be able to leverage our position in the new markets to get their piece of this growing pie.”

Jackson said the company's success in Asian markets to date also means that further expansion is on the cards, and the Apac Sale Group has appointed Rina Neoh to the newly-created position of head of Asia to manage this growth.

“Beyond financial year 2012/13 we do plan to open more sites throughout the region, [but] each new country has its own idiosyncrasies which is why we have employed Rina as a manager on the ground in Asia,” he said.
