MELBOURNE: Alannah Hill is set for a new look in winter 2011, with revamped branding, packaging and in-store installations.
The womenswear brand has collaborated with Swedish artist Veronica Ballart to produce four watercolour illustrations to appear on carrier bags, in boutique windows and on posters.
Alannah Hill is also due to launch an online store in February or March next year, with the winter 2011 offer to be the first available to order.
The four whimsical illustrations feature a girl in Alannah Hill style designs, inspired by 1950’s glamour. The images are designed to capture a sense of mischief, adventure and fun. Fuchsia and violet are key shades.
Ballart’s work has appeared in international magazines such as Elle, DV Mode and Plaza and for labels such as Mango and Zara.
