PERTH: Atlas South Sea Pearl has announced it will be implementing a new marketing agreement to allow for more flexibility to sell its pearls through expanded wholesale markets.
The company currently has a longstanding marketing agreement with Pearlautore International Pty Ltd which is to expire on December 31 and it has given notice that it does not intend to renew this agreement.
The company intends to strike a new, mutually beneficial agreement with Pearlautore that will build on the success they have achieved to date.
Under the previous arrangement, Atlas South Sea Pearl has developed retail operations in Indonesia as well as the manufacture and sale of wholesale jewellery.
It aims to focus on these operations as well as expand its wholesale business.
