MELBOURNE: Myer has detailed the locations of its 14 new stores, which will roll out nationally by 2014.
In a Citi Australian Investment Conference presentation yesterday, the company reported that the next three stores will open in Queensland, including Robina this week and Mackay and Townsville in the 2012 financial year.
Other locations to unfold include Fountain Gate and Watergate in Victoria, followed by Shell Harbour in New South Wales in financial year 2013. Stores in the ACT and Joondalup in Western Australia will also be launched, raising the national network from 65 to 80.
The redevelopment of Myer in Melbourne city will see a progressive opening of seven floors by Christmas 2010.
The department store reported that it has loaded over 7,200 SKU’s online to its e-commerce division.
