MELBOURNE: Myer has announced a new board member in the form of human resources specialist Chris Froggatt.
The department store revealed Froggatt was appointed an independent non-executive director effective December 9. Froggatt has over 20 years' executive experience in human resources for companies including Brambles Industries, Whitbread Group, Diageo, Mars and Unilever.
Myer chairman Howard McDonald welcomed Froggatt to the department store.
“Chris brings a wealth of relevant industry experience and knowledge to the company and her broad international experience will be of great benefit to the board,” McDonald said.
Froggatt also currently serves on the board of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Goodman Fielder.
