Hotsprings, the fashion powerhouse behind brands such as Mambo, Milk and Honey, Flinders Lane and Coast Clothing, is expanding its retail reach to New Zealand.
The company, founded in 1993 by entrepreneurial duo Ziad and Wassim Gazal, currently distributes its products via department stores Myer and David Jones and a selection of independent boutiques across Australia.
However, Hotsprings has now revealed it is in the midst of a New Zealand rollout, which is set to see its brands stocked in a number of local department stores and independents nationally this month.
The company has engaged Cathy Stewart from Trunk Agencies as its exclusive New Zealand sales agent and Hotsprings marketing & communications manager Kat Robinson confirmed Hotsprings has already sold three of its brands into local department store chains Smith and Caughey, Arthur Barnetts, and Ballantynes.
Robinson confirmed New Zealand-based department store chain H&J Smith is also a key target for expansion.
The three brands selected to kick off the Hotspings New Zealand expansion include: Coast Clothing, quintessential men’s shirting brand Flinders Lane, and Mambo Surf Deluxe; the premium extension of the iconic surfwear brand.
In addition to the current retail partners Hotsprings has secured, the company will also look to have its labels stocked in a number of smaller, independent outlets.
