Fashion house Gazal Corporation will launch a new division this month, as it moves to leverage its brand power.
The group, which manages brands such as Calvin Klein, Van Heusen, Nancy Ganz, Trade Secret, and Holdmetight, currently operates four online stores as well as 23 Trade Secret outlets and 10 Calvin Klein CK Underwear stores.
However, based on strong market demand and the company's exclusive licensing agreements with various labels, Gazal will now introduce a new corporate business apparel reseller website.
Businesswear.com.au will allow resellers access to Gazal's international and national brand portfolio, traditionally reserved for department stores and the independent market.
The offering will include over 190 styles across men's, women's, formal and casual wear from Calvin Klein Shirts, Van Heusen, Trent Nathan, Pierre Cardin, Bracks and Fred Bracks, and over 85 fabrics and colours, as well as numerous fits and sleeve-length combinations.
Commenting on the latest addition to the Gazal empire, group brand marketing manager Dianne Taylor said the launch of Businesswear.com.au was a strategic move to take advantage of the company's unique strengths in a tough market. “Demand from the reseller market for a point of difference, is a logical fit considering the replenishment stock we carry and the needs of this market.,” she said.
“The competitors do not have access to these brands, due to our license agreements only Gazal can offer them in these categories exclusively.”
The new venture will be supported by a comprehensive e-commerce function to provide approved resellers with the Gazal Businesswear catalogue, wholesale and recommended retail pricing, real time inventory, downloadable images, and an integrated order entry and replenishment system.
The platform, which can be utilised by current Gazal business apparel approved customers, will also carry an edited range of basic replenishable 'best sellers', to enable reliable delivery options for corporate customers.
In addition to the online platform, resellers will also have access to a 64-page full colour Gazal Businesswear brochure. The catalogue will include a comprehensive selection of products to showcase the brands on offer, along with range details and quick guides to finding and co-ordinating outfits.
