SYDNEY: One Teaspoon founder Jamie Blakey hopes to “shake things up in retail” when she debuts two new boutiques in Sydney this month.

The womenswear designer revealed she will open two One Teaspoon stores on December 18, the first in the 'designer gallery' preccinct in the newly unveiled Westfield Sydney. The second boutique will open on the same day in Sydney's Surry Hills, on the corner of Crown and Devonshire Streets.

“We want people to feel like they have an experience in our stores,” Blakey said.

“From the high level of service we will be giving to the custom leopard carpet and the skeleton garden courtyard to a vintage cocktail dress library where people can hire out amazing vintage frocks that we have sourced from all over the world...”

The store openings cap off a year in which the label celebrated its 10th birthday as well as its expansion into its 30th international territory.

One Teaspoon currently produces four product categories including denim, fashion, swim and a newly released range of military-inspired basics. Local stockists include General Pants, Glue Store and David Jones.

Retail price points for the label include shorts from $49.95, tops from $59.95, dresses from $99.95 and bikinis from $129.95.
