Group Zara Australia has posted a 10.5% rise in full year revenue to $312 million.
The result, for the year ending January 31 2019, trumped its previous annual haul of $282 million.
Profit for the Group also rose from $9 million to $12 million, according to ASIC documents.
Last year, sales and traffic to the Spanish fast fashion chain boomed after the launch of an Australian eCommerce site.
Organic search traffic to Zara.com from Australia increased by 50% from January to March, according to data provided exclusively to ragtrader.com.au by SEMRush.
However, it was the paid search that was the biggest driver of traffic to Zara’s new Australian online store, which saw an
increase from January to March of an incredible 18,900%.
There are 19 Zara stores in Australia, as well as two Zara Home locations.
Competitor H&M hauled in $353 million in sales last year, down from $363 million the previous year.
