Vogue Australia is turning the tables on its Fashion's Night Out promotion, inviting consumers to stay indoors for a night dedicated to online shopping.
To be hosted Wednesday June 8, the first ever Vogue Fashion's Night In will spotlight wares on offer from local and international e-tailers. The event will run from 5pm to 11pm AEST and see participating retailers offer consumers one-off specials such as discounts, gifts with purchase or free shipping.
Vogue Australia said “hundreds” of local and international brands have signed on to be part of the event, among them Alannah Hill, Bec & Bridge, Farage, Kate Sylvester, Lorna Jane, Manning Cartell, Thurley and White Suede.
E-tailers taking part include Trixan Body, Shoes of Prey, Net-A-Porter and My Catwalk, while department store and relative newcomer to the online space, Myer, has also signed up.
Vogue Australia will utilise social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook to promote the event to online shoppers, including running live updates on the night.
The launch of Vogue Fashion's Night In follows the magazine's first Fashion's Night Out on local shores in September 2010. Fashion's Night Out promoted Sydney CBD's bricks-and-mortar retailers.
