The Iconic is doubling down on its support of Thread Together, to help Australians impacted by the recent floods.

The eTailer will donate $25,000 to the charity, helping to support Thread Together's flood response.

This cash injection is in addition to the regular fundraising programs and business donations The Iconic makes to Thread Together.

Alongside the monetary donation, The Iconic will also be analysing its stock holdings to donate available items that are in need to Thread Together.

The business is also calling on its brand partners to assess their stock position to contribute additional clothing donations.

Meanwhile, The Iconic employees will also be stepping up their volunteer time at the Thread Together warehouse in the coming weeks and months.

Speaking on the efforts, The Iconic CEO Erica Berchtold said heightening the businesses support for Thread Together was an obvious choice.

"As we know from previous disaster relief initiatives, the recovery road for those affected is long and complex with support needed at all stages.

"It goes without saying that we at The Iconic wanted to again step-up and provide as much help as we can, in all ways we are able, with Thread Together being our natural partner for us to bring this into
action.

"We’ll be staying close over the coming weeks and months to see how we can continue to support Thread Together in the delivery of their life-changing work to those in our community most in need," she said.

This isn't the first time The Iconic has supported disaster-affected communities in need, with the eTailer opening its warehouse to donations during the devasting Black Summer bushfires.

Alongside its own efforts, The Iconic is encouraging customers to offer their support by donate their pre-loved clothes through Giving Made Easy.

These donated garments will go towards The Salvation Army, which also plays a key role in the emergency support efforts.

Meanwhile, customers can also donate directly to Thread Together, with every $5 giving a brand new wardrobe of clothing to someone in need.

Thread Together CEO Anthony Chesler added that the support from The Iconic helps the organisation deliver critical support when its urgently needed.

"Thread Together is extremely grateful to have the continued and consistent support of The Iconic.

"Our recent work with flood affected communities not only benefits from The Iconic’s regular monthly donations, but also the extra volunteer hands on deck, its industry connections to assist us in closing our product gaps and further financial support to ensure we can continue delivering our services.

"This generosity from The Iconic further demonstrates how important it is to have partners that not only support our mission but understand our needs," he said.
