· A designated kids play zone has been introduced to keep the whole family entertained during their trip to Target
· A parent’s room to make sure that the entire family can shop in comfort
· State-of-the-art fitting rooms
Target MD Stuart Machin said this is a big move for the retailer.
"We’ve rolled these new look stores out in other states so I’m excited to open Sydney’s first next generation store.
"At Target, we’re continually looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the shopping experience and to make the Target shopping experience a more comfortable and enjoyable one for our customers."
Target will offer $10 gift cards to the first 200 customers, as well as free fashion workshops and styling sessions with celebrity stylist Donny Galella.
Complimentary coffee, tea, Lindt and Fabulous Food Company sampling will also be offered on the day, while free face painting and balloon giveaways will run until Sunday.
Appearances from television characters Paw Paw Patrol and Transformers are also scheduled throughout the weekend.
