For the first time during the leadership of general manager, Jodie Bongetti, Supré has created a trend director role and has appointed existing trend forecaster Hannah Ralton to the position.
Ralton has worked as the trend forecaster at Supré for a year and has previously served 12 years as a senior designer at Bardot for 12 years.
Earlier in her career, Ralton worked as a graphic designer with a fashion wholesaler for Target, Myer and Kmart.
Speaking on the role, Supré GM Jodie Bongetti told Ragtrader that Ralton's appointment forms part of the brand's evolution and growth strategy.
"To continue to support the growth strategy for our Supré brand we have recently promoted our trend forecaster, Hannah Ralton, to trend director.
"With over 12 years’ experience (at Bardot and Bardot Junior), Hannah has been part of the Supré family for just over 12 months, and in that time has proven time and time again why she is so brilliant at what she does.
"Hannah has demonstrated she truly understands our Supré girl and with her innate ability to identify global trends and translate these trends in a Supré delivery, it’s a brilliant combination.
"In the last year she has shown not only the ability to influence our buying team, but partner with our marketing and creative team for a seamless customer experience.
"As the brand continues to shift in market and evolve, our product is looking more elevated than ever, and Hannah, in her trend director role will play a pivotal role in ensuring we continue to deliver on-trend affordable fashion for everyone," she said.
Ralton added that her role will come into contact with many touchpoints of the business.
"I’m so thrilled to be in the newly created position as trend director for Supré.
"My role plays a really active part across all aspects within the brand and team, ensuring I am a step ahead of the latest trends for our Supré girl, but also integrating those trends across all touch points of the business.
"I feel incredibly lucky to be on the journey to take such an iconic Australian brand into a new direction, and more importantly, love the work that I get to do each day," she said.
Ralton was appointed to the position in November.
