Superdry Australia has named Australian rapper Illy as the face of its new Reimagined Classics leather and denim campaign.
The new campaign showcases Superdry's new leather and denim capsule collection, which includes more than a dozen new leather jackets.
The international campaign showcases Superdry's quality fabrics, designs and Americana styling it has become known for.
Designed by Superdry's in-house team, the range offers Australian customers the transeasonal pieces needed for the shift from summer to autumn.
Speaking on the campaign, Illy (Al Murray) said he was thrilled to be the face of the campaign.
"Superdry to me represents high quality and versatility.
"I like looking good and feeling good in the clothes I wear and this range allows me to do both.
"I’m stoked to be involved," he said.
ARIA-winning Illy joins other big-name celebrities who have featured in Superdry campaigns including Idris Alba, Brooklyn Beckham and Australian musicians Ella Hooper, Thandi Phoenix, Ziggy Ramo, and Triple J’s KLP (Kristy Lee Peters).
Superdry head of marketing and PR Matthew Iozzi said the alignment between the brand and Illy was effortless.
"We are incredibly proud to be working alongside an Aussie music icon such as Illy in a campaign that celebrates equally iconic wardrobe stylings from the brand," he said.
The new collection is available now across Superdry stores in Australia and New Zealand and on the Superdry website, with leather jackets ranging from $399.95-$599.95.
