Australian fashion label Rachel Gilbert has relocated its Sydney flagship store to Paddington.
Best known for eveningwear and red carpet gowns, the designer label has reloated to a two-storey boutique on Glenmore Road.
The interior of the store eminates an art-gallery feeling and is finished with light walls and contrasting furniture and fittings.
On the ground floor the eveningwear and lifestyle pieces are showcased while the upper floor houses a bridal and styling suite for private wedding dress fittings.
Gilbert said that she wanted the store to reflect the growth of the brand.
"It all started in Paddington for me and I wanted my flagship store to reflect the evolution of the brand.
"Many of my evening and bridal gowns are beaded by hand with intricate elements – like wearable works of art," she said.
Rachel Gilbert was founded 12 years ago.
