Global streetwear brand Ksubi has collaborated with activewear label P.E Nation to launch a limited-edition womenswear denim collection, now launched globally.

The campaign for the collection was shot in Sydney, Australia, and also features Australian-born international model Shanina Shaik as the lead.

The 16-piece collection pays homage to the OG denim silhouettes of the 90s, teamed with modern street-sport styles. Featuring 10 denim pieces alongside lifestyle and activewear styles, the P.E Nation x Ksubi collaboration delivers oversized jersey tees, shearling outerwear, and a structured cut-out cargo dress.

It also includes a bike short and cropped long sleeve tee, set with a custom hyper-warped print.

As well as staple designs, the range also includes small details such as Ksubi’s signature 4x4 embroidered crosses, signature P.E Nation gold hardware and a unique custom logo that is a play on Ksubi’s iconic box-crosses combined with P.E Nation’s brand logo.

P.E Nation co-founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning said denim and activewear “underpin the modern woman’s wardrobe.

“It's an exciting proposition for two established, Australian brands to come together to take that message to the world,” the founders said.

“As an Australian brand that is driven by the celebration of attitude and expression, we were excited to join forces, as we share this mindset and ambition.”

Also speaking on the new collection, Ksubi CEO Craig King said his brand has always embraced change.

“We have seen the worlds of denim, streetwear and activewear cross over in recent times and there’s no better example of this than what Pip and Claire have done with PE Nation,” King said.

“The opportunity to combine the respective DNAs of two great Australian brands at this time to produce something fresh for our markets was too good to turn down.”

The P.E Nation x Ksubi collection is sold through both brand’s eCommerce sites, and from selected retail partners including Browns Fashion.
