Melbourne-born footwear brand Julius Marlow has taken an alternative approach to COVID19, by supporting other home-grown Melbournian businesses.
The #BackOnOurFeetTogether campaign has seen the men’s footwear brand profile several prominent small-medium businesses around Melbourne, all challenged by the onset of coronavirus.
Melbourne Rebels CEO Baden Stephenson and Kings Domain Barbers founder Aaron Chan are among those to join the campaign.
Brand manager Craig Wissler said Julius Marlow was founded in Melbourne in 1928.
“We were born on the streets of a resilient city. We are all in this together.”
The digitally led campaign profiles each ambassador across official brand channels, asking how they’ve been impacted and adapted to COVID19.
It also encourages Julius Marlow consumers to support local and invest back into the state’s economy.
“We, like a lot of other businesses out there have had to think on our feet and adjust on a daily basis," Chan said.
The campaign focuses on several prominent industries including sport and health and wellness.
Stephenson praised the initiative's support for local communities.
“This is why I love Melbourne. It’s a supportive city."
