Marais has launched a new menswear store in QV Melbourne, expanding the Group’s Melbourne presence.
Marais has two other locations, a men’s boutique on Little Collins Street and a women’s boutique on Bourke Street.
The new boutique at QV includes upper and lower retail, mirror and glass accents, and suspended railings. This includes a wall merchandised with international footwear, floor-to-ceiling digital video screens and a high-definition projector and LED lighting that showcase the brand’s offering.
The staff uniform includes a “fashion version” of a classic midnight roadwork uniform, complete with reflective gear.
Marais Enterprises founder and CEO Hiromi Yu said the luxury shopping experience has evolved rapidly over the last two years.
“The consumer is seeking out more of an experience versus a traditional in-store transaction,” Yu said. “Our shoppers, particularly in the menswear space will experience an ever-changing space; a fashion lab where nothing will ever be as it was before.
“We wanted to craft a ‘blank canvas’ we can design, re-design and change anytime according to what our customers are looking for.”
The Marais Group said it has been retailing in Melbourne for the past two decades, and has driven designer fashion since 2014 with the opening of its womenswear boutique on Bourke Street.
Its menswear boutique on Little Collins Street, separate to its newest mens boutique, sells a curated selection of international luxury designers including Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Mason Margiela.
Its new mens boutique in QV Melbourne launched on November 24, 2022.
