This is how Australian cult brand Mambo celebrated 30 years in business.

Mambo staged its birthday celebration at Sydney's newly launched The Standard Bowl.

The brand announced its 2014 ‘Mambassadors’ Nina Agdal, Sean Keenan and Caitlyn Paterson.

Sponsored by MEKO coconut water, the space was MAMBO-fied by iconic surf brand’s team of 30 artists which showcased its irreverent art since 1984. This included the signature ‘Farting Dog’ as well as a visual element projecting the best of MAMBO over the years. There was a live art element with Australian artist Sindy Sinn painting a celebratory surfboard.

Reg Mombassa, who put Mambo on the global map in the 90’s, performed for 45 minutes with his band Reg and Dog Trumpet. He was supported by The Vines DJ Brad Heald and emerging indie band, The Scallywags.

Celebrity guests included Stephanie Rice, television presenters Ash London and Scott Tweedie, NRL player Jamal Idris, X Factor's Joelle Hadjia and Ten's Matt Doran.
