Melbourne-based accessories chain Lovisa has set its sights on the UK.
Board members have given the green light to run a pilot of three to five stores in the market.
The first site will open in Leeds in early December, in a bid to cash in on the lucrative Christmas period.
Negotiations are underway to open two to four stores by the third quarter of fiscal 2016.
Lovisa has over 200 stores across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore and Malaysia.
It also operates franchises in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.
Parent company BB Retail Capital wound down sister brand Diva last year, shutting or rebranding sites to the Lovisa brand.
