Kathmandu has been recognised by Deloitte for its sustainable business practices.
The New Zealand-based retailer took out the top spot in Deloitte's Top200 Awards in the category of The Aotearoa Circle Sustainable Business Leadership.
The Awards recognise the contribution, depth and range of the New Zealand business community and feature industries that underpin New Zealand's success.
Kathmandu CEO Reuben Casey said the business was proud to have its work recognised.
"As a brand Kathmandu has the goal to have 100% of its products designed, developed, and manufactured using elements of circularity principles by 2025.
"These 2025 sustainability goals focus on three areas where Kathmandu wants to lead by example - people, planet and practice.
"This award is a proud recognition of the work our team is doing as we move toward 2025," he said.
The award from Deloitte is the second recognition the business has been given in 2022 and follows on from Kathmandu's win at the Outdoor Retailer trade show, where its NXT Level Bio Down jacket was chosen as a winner from 152 entries.
