Kathmandu has launched dedicated eCommerce sites for Europe, the UK and Canada with US expansion on the cards later this year. 

To mark the launch, Kathmandu has partnered with Paris-based retailer Leclaireur to debut its Autumn/Winter 2022 range.

The collaboration with Leclaireur marks the start of a new chapter for Kathmandu as it launches outdoor gear online and in select specialist retailers across major international markets. 

Speaking at the launch event, which was held during Paris Fashion Week, CCO Eva Barrett said the venture was in response to growing demand from global consumers. 

"We’re thrilled to announce that Kathmandu is now available in Europe, the UK and Canada. We’re Australia and New Zealand’s favourite outdoor brand, and we look forward to seeing outdoor enthusiasts around the world discover our innovative and sustainable gear.”

The AW22 range is designed with this customer in mind, featuring products such as the biodegradable NXT-Level BioDown jacket and Kathmandu classics Epiq and Heli down jackets.

KMD Brands Europe President Mathieu Lefin said the NXT-Level BioDown jacket represents the brand’s development.

“The jacket is not only a great innovation, its beautifully designed and hard- wearing. We’re excited to bring this to our region and are proud to launch it with our partner, Leclaireur."
