Jeanswest has launched an Australian-made menswear collection.
This is the second collection of its kind and is 100% designed and made in Australia.
It includes six winning t-shirt designs created by local design students.
Accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia, the Homespun Black Canvas line works with students from RMIT and Monash in Melbourne.
The Blank Canvas capsule was produced on home soil in partnership with two suppliers: OCC Apparel (NSW) and ABMT Textiles (VIC).
The t-shirts are produced from 100% cotton and retail for $44.99.
Jeanswest general manager of product Adam Lloyd said local production is an important part of its business.
"Corporate Social Responsibility carries weight in many of the decision we make across our business, and transparency in manufacturing and education are two areas in which we are particularly active.
"Homespun Blank Canvas brings these two areas together with a locally made collection that supports locally grown talent.
"It’s also a lovely way to provide a memorable example to our future industry leaders, of what is possible on home soil.”
Female consumers will also be offered a locally produced tee line for summer.
