A Brisbane lingerie retailer has used the power of technology to target customers in remote areas.
'Big Girls Don’t Cry (anymore)' will celebrate its 25th year in business this month.
The retailer, which has a national database of over 50, 000 customers, has marked the milestone with the launch of a virtual fittings service.
Virtual fittings will allow customers to receive fitting advice through Skype and Face time.
Big Girls Don’t Cry (anymore) founder Karen Edbrooke said the idea spawned from demand.
“We have customers all over the country and a lot of them live in remote areas.
"These customers are continually asking for fitting advice over the phone where we can only imagine how the bra is fitting with the information the customer is giving us.
"This allows us to see exactly how the bra is fitting and give advice on how to improve or approve the fit.”
This will be by appointment only after the customer fills in the online form via www.brastogo.com.au.
Edbrooke said the site offers an extensive size range from 6-36 B-N.
“We would also like to stress that going into a store and getting a professional bra fitting is always the best practice.
"However we understand there are a lot of customers that are unable to do this and this is why we have developed this idea.”
