Luxury label Cartier has unveiled its first Australian 'ephemeral boutique' in Westfield Sydney. 

The concept sees Cartier open its pop-up doors to the public for a period of 88 days, with customers able to experience and shop the label's collections inside.

The boutique houses fragrance, leather goods, watches and jewellery, objects and eyewear from some of Cartier’s most renowned collections, including Love, Juste un Clou, Panthère de Cartier, Tank and Ballon Bleu.

Cartier Oceania MD Alban du Mesnil said that the business is thrilled to launch The Cartier Box retail concept.

"We are delighted to welcome guests to discover our first Australian ephemeral boutique, The Cartier Box.

"The ephemeral boutique is a renewed retail concept, whereby guests are able to discover the many creations of the Maison through ‘experience displays’ and tactile moments," he said.

"In addition to our most iconic creations, The Cartier Box will debut our New Objects and Accessories collection," he continued. 

"At Cartier, the history of objects is connected to the history of jewellery; they are all part of an art de vivre that has brought style, savoir-faire and aesthetic to places of elegance.

"We are thrilled to launch this new collection for our clients and celebrate ‘the art of gifting’ with The Cartier Box this festive season," Mesnil said.

The debut New Objects and Accessories collection is inspired by the history of Cartier objects and comprises of games, baby gifts, travel accessories, writing instruments and ornamental décor.

To celebrate ‘the art of gifting’ Cartier will offer complementary gift-wrapping, as well as an exclusive silk gift wrap for clients of The Cartier Box, finished with its signature custom red wax seal.

The Cartier Box opened on Wednesday December 02 and will trade until Sunday February 28 2021.
