Following an absence of three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the International Sourcing Expo and Footwear and Leather Show are set to return to Melbourne.
Co-located with the China Clothing Textiles Accessories Expo, the combined events provide sourcing direct from the manufacturer.
The events will include more than 300 exhibitors from India, Pakistan, Turkey, South Africa, Bangladesh, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, China and other countries.
Running from 15 – 17 November 2022 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the expo will provide the local industry with access to suppliers in apparel, accessories and textiles.
The 2019 Expo saw more than 4000 visits from large fashion retailers to start-up labels, including Peter Alexander, Myer, Kookai, Lincraft, Cotton On Group, Fila, Forever New and Wittner.
“With an incredible range of International exhibitors, we really are bringing the world to Australian professionals in the apparel, accessories and textile manufacturing, marketing and sourcing industries,” IEC CEO Marie Kinsella said.
“In light of Covid, which has made International travel more difficult and cost prohibitive, we see the two shows as providing a one-stop local shop when it comes to equipping our apparel and textile industries with the latest in apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, fabric and more.
"We’re so excited about reinvigorating relations, and witnessing the business opportunities that will transpire, between our apparel and textile industry and global suppliers."
