Australia's first-ever Guess Kids store has opened at Westfield Doncaster, launched by its licensee Signal Brands Australia.

Guess Kids has been available online and in select Guess stores nationally. The range includes complete collections in monthly drops, catering for infants up to the age of 16 for both girls and boys.

Signal Brands Australia marketing manager Casey Pascoe-Webbe confirmed this is the first stand-alone site for the brand in Australia.

“The Guess Kids range is a collection of down versions of the styling and themes from mainline Guess. From the cradle to the early years of high school, every range for Baby Guess, Guess Kids brings together Guess style that parents love. From natural fibre onesies to unexpected dresses for junior girls and sporty-chic pieces with racing graphics borrowed from dad’s wardrobe for the boys."

Designed by Signal Brands Australia in collaboration with Lisa Perry Designs, the Doncaster store features timber floors and panels with coloured ottomans and rugs. All fixtures and fittings were made in Australia to meet Guess international standards by GKR Interiors.

Based in Alexandria, NSW, Signal Brands Australia is a full-service licensee across apparel, footwear, handbags and accessories, and manages all of its brands’ retail, ecommerce and wholesale operations.

In addition to Guess, Signal Brands Australia also holds a license for Steve Madden and Nine West handbags.

For Guess, it manages nine full-priced retail stores and eight Guess Factory stores throughout Australia. Signal Brands expects five new stores to open in the next quarter, including its Guess Kids store in Doncaster. Guess wholesales to David Jones and Strandbags, and sells through The Iconic, Myer, Just Jeans.

For Steve Madden, the company operates eight full priced stores and three Factory stores in Australia.

Signal Brands operates Nine West handbags as a vertical in Australia, where it produces the handbags and wholesales them to Myer, David Jones, Strandbags and The Iconic.

Signal Brands Australia also hold the license for these brands in New Zealand, where it currently only sells to Farmers in a wholesale arrangement.
