Emporium Melbourne is set to host the first Australian instalment of floral exhibition, Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ this month, in support of The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The 10-day floral exhibition will be freely open to the public and will feature 13 floral couture mannequin installations.
On display will be floral installations inspired by Emporium Melbourne’s Rooftop Honey project, Marimekko, Gorman, The Royal Botanic Gardens, The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Automotive luxury brand, Genesis Motors Australia and QT Melbourne.
Emporium Melbourne acting centre manager Renee Blome welcomed the exhibition to Australia.
"We are delighted to host the first-ever Fleurs de Villes’ presentation in Australia.
"By exhibiting and partnering with this inspiring, international experience, Emporium Melbourne continues its support and celebration of local design artisans within Melbourne’s CBD.
"This imaginative showcase is also a stunning accompaniment to the premium retailers we have in the centre, and our seasonal activity," she said.
The exhibition will feature works from local florists including Deco Green Concepts, Dope Florals, Flowers Alley, Florals by Pemberley of Malmsbury, Flowers by Varu, Grown Florist, Mattea Davies, Monstera Flowers, Petal and Sage, Thrive Flowers & Events, Victoria Whitelaw Beautiful Flowers and The Melbourne Flower School.
Alongside Fleurs de Villes' support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, visitors can make donations to the organisation through a QR code on the signs at each installation.
"At the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), our mission is to reach Zero Deaths from breast cancer by funding world-class breast cancer research," acting NBCF CEO Moana Wood said.
"As we are 100% community funded, we rely on the support of corporate partners like Fleurs De Villes (and their stunning floral show) to reach our goal.
"Together, we can create a better tomorrow for those impacted by breast cancer," she said.
Attendees to the exhibition will also be able to vote on their favourite mannequin in support of Melbourne’s local florists.
Fleurs de Villes founder Karen Marshall said she was thrilled to see the show come to the southern hemisphere for the first time.
"As the world's only global flower show brand we are delighted to make our first stop in the southern hemisphere at Emporium Melbourne - supporting local florists and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
"The flora and fauna in Australia is world renowned and we can't wait to share what our Melbourne-based florists create with the world," she said.
Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ will be on display at Emporium Melbourne from February 18 to 27 2022.
