Ecco footwear has reopened its Pitt St Sydney store after undergoing a refit.

To celebrate the opening of the new 'Prime Store' concept Ecco Shoes owner and chairman Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak, officially re-opened the store alongside members of the Ecco Australia team.

The store takes inspiration from the brand's Danish heritage and features elements of clean, simple Danish design.

The store also works to introduce the brand to new consumers by pushing it into the premium footwear space, a mission the brand has been on for several months.

Ecco head of direct to consumer (retail, marketing and eCommerce) Jeff Karger said that the new store reflects the brand's values.

"Ecco stands for modern Danish design that combines heritage with innovation, while fusing comfort with style, and the new ‘Prime Store’ concept allows us to express ourselves as a brand.

"It was a momentous occasion to have this store opened by Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak and reflects how important our new Prime Concepts are.

"The store is a symbol of the continued mobilisation of the brand to its rightful place within the premium retail landscape," he said.

The store opened stocked with Ecco's autumn/winter 2020 collection giving consumers the opportunity to shop the business' most up-to-date range.

To enhance the consumer experience inside the store, the staff have undertaken extensive training and are highly knowledgeable about Ecco’s full range.
